Our President, as of November 5th, and now officially as of November 6th, Barack Hussein Obama II, was born August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
President Barack Obama spent much of his early life such as his childhood as well as his teenage years growing up in Honolulu with single mother, Ann Dunham after her and Barack Obama II's father Barack Obama Sr. separated. After meeting and establishing a relationship with Lolo Soetoro, Ann Dunham married and moved to Soetoro's homeland, Indonesia bringing along Barack Obama as well as half-sister, Maya Soetoro. After residing for some years in Indonesia, Obama chose to locate back to Honolulu, Hawaii with his grandparents, Stanley and Madelyn Dunham and finish school.
In 1979, Barack Obama migrated to Los Angeles, California and studied at Occidental College for two years. After said two years expired, Obama then attended Columbia University and graduated with a degree in political science in 1983. In 1988, after working in the business field, Barack Obama began to study at Harvard Law School and achieved many accomplishments along the way such as earning the recognition of being the first ever African American editor of the Harvard Law Review. After three years at Harvard, Obama graduated in 1991.
Whilst studying at Harvard Law School, Barack Obama met future First Lady, Michelle Obama in 1989. Mrs. Obama has been on the record to say, "He [Obama] sounded too good to be true...I had dated a lot of brothers who had this kind of reputation coming in, so I figured he was one of these smooth brothers who could talk straight and impress people. So we had lunch, and he had this bad sport jacket and a cigarette dangling from his mouth, and I thought: 'Oh, here you go. Here's this good-looking, smooth-talking guy. I've been down this road before.' " In spite of Michelle Obama, though at the time Michelle Robinson, thoughts of Mr. Obama as just another "smooth brother," she did not let this judgment cloud her perception of him and after three years of dating, the two preceded to marry October 3, 1992.
Following six years after their nuptials, Malia Obama, first daughter to the Obama's, was born July 4, 1998, and second daughter, Natasha "Sasha" Obama, was born June 10, 2001. After Harvard Law School, Barack Obama came back to Chicago and began a career as a civil rights lawyer at the firm, Miner, Barnhill, and Galland. From 1992-2004, Obama worked as a professor and lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School. After publication in 1995 of the critically acclaimed autobiography, Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, Barack Obama launched into his Illinois political career and won a seat in the Illinois Senate in 1996. In addition to his many accomplishments, Obama became chairman of the Illinois Senate's Health and Human Services Committee. In 2005, Obama was sworn into the US Senate. Following this, author Barack Obama published a second successful book, The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream, in October of 2006. This book paved the way for Barack Obama's annunciation in 2007 of candidacy of the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination. After a long and grueling campaign, on November 4, 2008, Barack Obama and running mate, Joe Biden, defeated Republican candidate John McCain and running partner, Sarah Palin and on Novemeber 6, 2012, Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden were reelected into office.

Both Biden's sons although badly injured, survived the accident. In 1975, after being a widower for three years, Biden met his now wife, Jill Biden. (Then, Jill Jacobs.) June 17, 1977, Joe and Jill Biden were officially married and in 1981 the couple had their only daughter, Ashley Blazer.
